Molinello
Turning all the way around to the left:
Reverse - turning around to the right
Make a complete turn to the left or the right with each tempo.
Compasso doesn't describe or define the Molinello, but Caroso does, in both Il Ballarino and Nobilta di Dame.
Which cinquepasso Compasso would have considered the "usual" one is an open question. I suspect "all kicks forwards" rather than "forwards, back, forwards, forwards".
Caroso specifies a turn around to the left with one cinquepasso and another turn to the right in the second cinquepasso.
I find that this works more cleanly if you turn as far as you reasonably can early in the tempo (on the first beat, if possible), so you have plenty of time to complete the turn before the cadenza.
Cinquepasso turning
Single:
... spinning to the left ...
... and to the right ...
This takes one tempo (one bar in 6/4 or 6/8; two bars in 3/4 or 3/2) of galliard music; or two bars to complete a turn each way.
