Start with the left foot a little behind in the right, 

  1. hop on the right foot, touching the left toes to the ground next to the right foot
  2. (pause)
  3. hop on the right foot, touching the left heel to the ground
  4. hop on the right foot, end by lowering the left foot to the ground next to the right
  5. cadenza - jump
  6. land on both feet, right foot a little behind left

Reverse 

  1. hop on the left foot, touching the right toes to the ground next to the left foot
  2. (pause)
  3. hop on the left foot, touching the right heel to the ground
  4. hop on the left foot, end by lowering the right foot to the ground next to the left
  5. cadenza - jump
  6. land on both feet, left foot a little behind right

This is executed on the spot.

 

VARIANTS

This works well in several different rhythms. For example:

Move the pause:

  1. hop on the left foot, touching the right toes to the ground next to the left foot
  2. hop on the left foot, touching the right heel to the ground
  3. hop on the left foot, end by lowering the right foot to the ground next to the left
  4. (pause)
  5. cadenza - jump
  6. land on both feet, left foot a little behind right

Twice on one side:

Twice, one on each side:

  1. hop on the right foot, touching the left toes to the ground next to the right foot
  2. hop on the right foot, touching the left heel to the ground
  3. hop on the left foot, touching the right toes to the ground 
  4. hop on the left foot, touching the right heel to the ground
  5. cadenza - jump
  6. land on both feet, left foot a little behind right
