An excellent start to 2018!

During the first hour we learned several dances from Arbeau's 'Orchesography':

  • Hay dance
  • Arbeau's Common Basse Danse, with the Retour
  • Arbeau's Tourdion

During the second half we learned (reviewed, for some) the 10(ish) core steps in the 16thC Italian vocabulary, and began work on the balletti "Pungente Dardo" (Caroso, Il Ballarino, 1581).
