Winter Warm-up, 2011

Another good evening at the Winter Warm-up, the annual folk-dancing extravaganza of the Danish Society Folkdancers and the Ruritanian International Folkdance Club.

The performance went well, and both dancing and costumes got many appreciative comments.

After performing in extremely heavy costumes (we all went for late-16th outfits in velvet and wool) it was lovely to get back into light modern clothes, and spend the rest of the evening watching other group's performances, and joining as many of the audience-particicpation dances as we could.

Thanks again to the Ruritanians for the invitation: this year was as much fun as ever!
