Context: 

This year's Battlecry began with a masked ball on Friday night. There were a number of displays of medieval swordsmanship, then dancing (both our performances, and social dancing), then a fire-breathing display, and finally more social dancing.

The venue was a large hall in the ASB showgrounds. Many of the audience were also re-enactors, so already knew a number of renaissance dances.
