To do this Passo Naturale, begin with the left foot behind, one foot about half a palm from the other, with the left toes one inch from the right heel, and thrust [the left] forwards by the right, about half a palm, and place it on the ground. This can also be done per contrario. Note that the body should accompany the motion of the foot. It is so called because it is shown by Nature.
