The Passi Gravi [slow steps] in the Balletti are done all in one battuta of the music, moving the left foot, and thrusting it forwards, as was explained for the Puntata Grave, then passing the right, in the same way as the left. And all this with grace, and beautifully, accompanying it [the foot] somewhat with the body [persona], and peacocking yourself. And see that you carry the toes of the feet straight, and the knees well straightened.
