Notes: we'e starting the initial 11 saltarello at the end of the first tempo, with a movimento on the left foot and a saltarello right. The two introductory notes before the saltarello weave allow the first and last man to do a mezavolta and salto one after the other, rather than simultaneously - looks quite spiffy.
A complete dance, tonight, using our current two mutanze
As a simple dance:
- Riverenza and two continenze, with your partner - one strain
- four spezzati into the middle of the floor, four circling (holding right hands) - one strain
- four separating, then the man only does the turning passage - one strain
- man's first mutanza - two strains
- man does turning passage, then woman does it - one strain
- woman's first mutanza - two strains
- woman does turning passage, then man does it
- man's second mutanza
- man does turning passage, then woman
- woman's second mutanza
- woman does turning passage and man does it at the same time; 4 spezzati meeting in the middle - one strain
- four spezzati changing ends, man does turning passage - one strain
- Then the man and the woman each do another two mutanze, separated by turning passages, as above; after the woman's final mutanza ...
- woman does turning passage and man does it at the same time; 4 spezzati meeting in the middle - one strain
- 8 spezzati circling in the middle, end side by side - one strain
- 2 continenze, riverenza - one last strain
Pinzochera
With only 7, just to keep the choreography fresh for us.
A warm-down instead of a warm-up this time. The three-person variant was fun.
