Beginning with the left foot in front, in passo naturale, jump up about an inch from the ground, and in jumping up, draw the left foot back, and land lightly on the ground up on the right toes, and in place where you began. Then return to jump up anew, one inch from the ground, and in jumping up, thust the left forwards, that was raised behind the right, and return anew to land up on the right toes. This can also be done per contrario, and also beginning wit the left foot raised in front [sic]. It is so called because one foot goes forwards and backwards, and it is the most common [of the campanelle].
