Choreography: 

A. Four doubles forward, with hops.

End each double with a small hop. Alternate starting with left and right foot.

B. Face your partner. Set and turn twice:

  • single sideways to the left
  • single sideways to the right
  • double, turning in place, to the left (anticlockwise), then
  • single sideways to the right
  • single sideways to the left
  • double, turning in place, to the right (clockwise), ending with a small honour (bow, reverence)

C. 

  • Men only: single sideways to left
  • Women only: single sideways to left
  • All: double into partner's place, passing right shoulders
  • Women only: single sideways to right
  • Men only: single sideways to right
  • All: double into partner's place, passing left shoulders

The dance may repeat from the start. 

Discussion: 

Amongst modern re-enactors, it's customary in many places to repeat the dance several times, and alternate whether men or women start the "C" section.
