Tremolanti (Ballarino)

Translation: 

These Tremolanti can be used in all kinds of passi, and they are done in the same time that it takes to do a passo grave, in this manner: lifting the left foot, move it three time, with the greatest possible speed, gliding to the left, and to the right, and the last time drop that foot to the ground, then lift the right, and keep to the same rule with the right that you did with the left. From this effect of shaking [tremolare] the foot it has its name Tremolanti.
