Amoroso tre

Also known as:

Amor sguardo in tre (perhaps)

Title translation:
Amoroso for three
Dance Type:
Number of dancers:
3
About this choreography:
This exists only in the Siena MS (which is notoriously error-prone), and without suitable music.
Choreography:

Gender isn't clearly specified - for three people

Together:

  • 12 tempi of saltarelli

One at a time:

  1. ssd - each person in turn does ssd, first (person on left? at front?), then second, then third, catching up
  2. riverentia, voltatonda - first, then second, then third
  3. continentia, touching the hand of the person to the left - first, then second, then third

Together:

  • voltatonda, having first taken hands

The end - but the form of the dance suggests repeating, maybe three times in total, so that each dancer could lead.

Music:

I've adapted the music for the much more widely-known Amoroso for two, to fit a version of this choreography.
