Gracca Amorosa: Love-chatter,

A cascarda in honour of the illustrious Lady Margherita Gracca Boccamazzi, Roman gentlewoman.

The man and lady face and do a Riverenza minima together, and four Seguiti spezzati, two in a wheel, and two turning to the left, with four Trabuchetti facing, beginning each thing with the left, then with the right. Then they continue with a Seguito spezzato with the left and a meza Riverenza with the right, to the left side; similarly, on the other side, they’ll do to the right side another  Seguito spezzato with the right, and a meza Riverenza with the left. Then they will do two Seguiti spezzati flankingly backwards, and thee Riprese, with a Trabuchetto, with the left, turning the left flank outwards. Then they will return to do another two Seguiti spezzati flankingly backwards, with another three Riprese, and a Trabuchetti, as above, turning the right flank, and beginning with the right.

In the second time [through the music] they will do four Seguiti spezzati in a wheel, four Trabuchetti, and two Seguiti spezzati turning to the left, with two Scambiate, one to the left and the other to the right. Then they will return to do the two Seguiti spezzati flankingly backwards, with the three Riprese, and the Trabuchetto, turning the left flank, and they will do the same another time on the other side, as was said in the first time.

In the third time, the man alone will do two Seguiti spezzati flankingly forwards, four Trabuchetti, another two Seguiti spezzati turning to the left, and another four Trabuchetti facing, a Passo with the left, and a meza Riverenza with the right, turning the body a little to the left side. He will do another Passo with the right, and a meza Riverenza with the left, turning the body a little to the right side. After that they return to do two Seguiti spezzati flankingly backwards together, with three Riprese and a Trabuchetto, turning the left flank outwards. They will do the same things another time on the other side.

In the fifth time the lady will do alone the same variation the man did. Then they will do together the aforementioned spezzate, as above.

In the fifth time, they will do together a Seguito ordinario to the left side, two Riprese, two Trabuchetti, one with the right, the other with the left. They will do the same on the other side to the right. Then they will do a Passo with the left foot, and a meza Riverenza with the right, touching their right hands together. They will do the same another time to the other side. Then they will return to do the two Seguiti spezzati flankingly backwards, twice, with the Riprese and the Trabuchetto, as they did they in all the other sections. Finally, they will complete the dance with a Riverenza grave facing.
