About this choreography:
Reconstruction 2004/2006[6], updated c. 2008.
Choreography:

A couple start facing each other, not holding hands, but close enough that they could.

First verse:

Riverenza minima (L)

8 Spezzati in a wheel (LRLR . . .)(turning clockwise)

Scambiata to left ending in a Cadenza a pie pari

Chorus:

4 Trabuchetti (LRLR)
2 Trangi (LR) flankingly backwards

2 Riprese (LL), 2 Trabuchetti (LR)
Spezzato (L) turning over left shoulder, Cadenza
2 Riprese (RR), 2 Trabuchetti (RL)
Spezzato (R) turning over right shoulder, Cadenza

Second verse: man's solo

2 Spezzati flankingly forwards (LR)
2 Passi forwards (LR)
2 Trabuchetti (LR)
Spezzato (L) turning over left shoulder, Cadenza

- repeat starting with right foot

Both dance the chorus.

Third verse: woman's solo.

The woman dances same solo that the man did in verse 2. Both dance the chorus.

Fourth verse:

Take right hands. Change places (more or less - you don't need to get all the way into your partner's original position), using:

2 Passi (LR)
2 Trabuchetti (LR)
2 Riprese (LL), 2 Trabuchetti (LR)
Spezzato (L) turning over left shoulder, Cadenza.

- Take left hands. Return to place using steps above, starting on right.

Chorus

Do a final Riverenza outside the music.

Music:

I use the recording on Celeste Giglio. Fast, lovely, rather quiet.

CHIARA STELLA (Bright Star)

CASCARDA;

IN HONOUR OF THE MOST ILLUSTRIOUS LADY,

THE LADY OLIMPIA CUPPIS DE’ MASSIMI,

Gentlewoman of Rome

The people, standing facing, as in the figure for Alta Regina, will do together the Riverenza minima, then in a wheel they will do eight Seguiti spezzati, one Scambiata to the left, and the Cadenza with the left foot, facing: then they will do four Trabuchetti, with two Passi trangati, that is withdrawing flankingly, and two Riprese, two Trabuchetti to the left, and one Seguito spezzato turning to the left, beginning each thing with the left; then they will do the Cadenza with the right facing: they will do yet the same Riprese, and Trabuchetti, and Seguito turning to the right, beginning with the right, and doing the Cadenza with the left facing.

Mutanza of the Man alone, and together.

The man alone will do two Seguiti spezzati flankingly forwards, two Passi presti, with two Trabuchetti, and one Seguito spezzato turning to the left, and the Cadenza with the right, facing. Then he will return to do another two Seguiti spezzati flankingly forwards, and two Passi presti, with two Trabuchetti, one Seguito spezzato turning to the right, and the Cadenza with the left facing, as above.

They will do together four Trabuchetti, two Passi trangati flankingly backwards, as in Barriera/at the barriers: then they will do to the left two Riprese, two Trabuchetti, with a Seguito spezzato turning to the left, and the Cadenza with the right facing: then they will do to the right the same Riprese, Trabuchetti, and Seguiti spezzato, but turning to the right, with the Cadenza with the left facing.

Mutanza of the Lady alone and together.

The Lady will do each thing as the Man did; then they will do together those same things as they did in the mutanza above.

Then they will take that said right [hand], and they will do two Passi presti, two Trabuchetti, with two Riprese, and another two Trabuchetti, beginning with the left foot: then releasing hands, they will do a Seguito spezzato turning to the left, and the Cadenza with the right, changing places. They will do the same taking hands by the left on the other side, each returning to his own place. Facing they will do four Trabuchetti, and two Passi trangati flankingly backwards, as in Barriera: then they will do to the left two Riprese, two Trabuchetti, with a Seguito spezzato turning to the right, and the Cadenza with the left, standing again at the end facing as they began, and concluding the Cascarda with a Riverenza outside the music.
