Cinque passi (Lutii)

Source:
Translation:

The simple passage called the cinque passi: this is universally done in all dancing of the galliard. Begin with the foot with which you do the riverenza when you wish to start, and give a botta [beat, kick] in the air with that foot, and one on the ground in front, and a sotto piede fermo [in place? steady?] with the other foot, and with the same [foot] give a botta[beat, kick] in the air in front, and the cadenza.
[Lutii doesn't explain the cadenza, so try Caroso's from Il Ballarino].
